Der Boden ist verhältnismässig hart
Charlotte Mathiessen in collaboration with the performers
A performative walk through the richest part of Zürich past unexpected places, always on the threshold between private sphere and public space. In the performance, the political dimensions of the ability to make yourself comfortable are staged and our tendency towards comfort, decadence and inertia questioned.
Performers: Maria Combi, Mariane Justen, Elena von Graffenried, Marie Nest, Meret Schmid, Jonas Bernetta, Philip Neuberger
Text: Fredi Thiele
Musik: Magda Drozd
This project was part of my MA in dramaturgy at the ZHdK.

Warning for Contemplation Sections
Together the choreographer and performer Elenita Queiróz and the performers Léa Thomen, Mara Natterer and me enter a universe of movements, struggle, wildness, scarcity, fatigue, collapse, and mutual support. The piece is a call to a raw, lurking and contemplative form of rebellion.
